ICRA Training (Infection Control Risk Assessment)

A MUST HAVE training for all PMs, CMs, FMs, Architects, Hospital Staff, Building Trades Workers, Construction Related Professionals, and Infection Preventionists. This 8 Hour Training course promotes the communication, awareness, and protocol for working in occupied Healthcare Facilities. It also outlines protection methods and safe work practices for the various trades and hospital staff who are working in a healthcare setting. This course discusses the unique environment of the healthcare facility and the potential hazards in this environment. It also discusses the function of the ICRA Teams and how the ICRA forms are used. In this class you will also learn: Controlling Contaminants, Administrative Controls, and Mold Considerations.

Our goal is to deliver a workforce of healthcare industry professionals and construction related professionals who understand why and how to protect the patients, visitors, themselves and potentially our loved ones, during maintenance projects and construction projects in a healthcare environment.

One of the most important aspects of the program is "building the bridge of communication" between the departments in your healthcare facility, as well as with the construction related professionals.

Involving everyone in the common goal of "raising the bar on patient safety" and working in unison with your Infection Control and Infection Prevention protocols, will ultimately lead to Saving Lives and Lives Affected by construction-related and maintenance-related Healthcare Associated Infections.
